An ankle CPM is invaluable to the rehabilitation of an ankle after ankle surgery. If you have been casted, the use of the CPM after the cast is either cracked or removed is indicated. If your surgeon has used internal components and you are not casted, early use of a CPM, either immediately after surgery or as soon as possible thereafter, will speed your recovery and reduce the need for more extensive physical therapy.
