The Kendall 6325 Sequel Sequential Compression Device (SCD) is a clinically proven treatment that works to reduce the incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)*.
The pneumatic controller gently squeezes the legs by inflating multiple chambers of the leg sleeves. By starting at the ankle and moving up the leg, the gentle squeezing increases blood flow as it pushes it towards the heart.
For use on patients with high risk conditions such as obesity, advanced age, malignancy, or prior thromboembolism.
Disposable sleeves available in knee and thigh lengths.
*Deep Vein Thrombosis: The formation of a blood clot in a deep vein commonly affecting the veins in the leg.
