Medcom has many different styles of
CPMs. This is only a few of the many units we stock. As
we have been in business since 1988, we have acquired almost every
brand, style and type of CPM ever made. As new machines have
been introduced, we would sell machines that no longer were
appropriate for our patient use and kept those machines, no matter
how old, that were able to fill a rehabilitation niche' because they
had a unique motion, or were able to be rented at a lower rate as
they had been discontinued.
Medcom has machines in stock from:
Danninger, Toronto Medical, Sutter, Invacare, Stryker, Breg,
Artromot, Smith & Nephew, Jace, Kinetec, Chattanooga, and more.

or without synchronized pronation/supination of the forearm
Conveniently located goniometer allows patient or therapist
to quickly see range-of-motion progress
Automatic reverse on load prevents excessive force from
being applied to the joint
Machine can be used with the patient in bed or sitting on a
chair
The Kinetec*
6080* Elbow CPM Machine helps to prevent stiffness and loss of
motion in the elbow following surgery. This machine, which provides
anatomically correct passive motion of the elbow joint, can be used
in a bed or a chair.

Artromot
S-2 Shoulder CPM Machine
German engineering. This
shoulder CPM machine spawned another generation of
shoulder CPMs. It was the industry standard in
its day and still an excellent choice for most any
shoulder CPM application.
Artromot
Bed Mount Shoulder CPM
This is the Artromot SB-2 bed mount shoulder CPM.
These are very rare and hand made in Germany, and of
course, medcom has them in stock.
Medcom has other
shoulder CPMs as well, we have the Total CPM from
Invacare that is a bed mount can be used in a chair of
the patient's choosing. We have the Toronto
ambulatory shoulder CPMs. And there are new
exciting machines being introduced as well.
Provides immediate post-operative range-of-motion exercise
to help prevent joint stiffness
Allows the patient to form a true composite fist
Provides pronation/supination of the wrist and
flexion/extension for fingers, thumb and wrist
The
Kinetec* 8080* Hand & Wrist CPM machine provides
pronation/supination of the wrist, and flexion/extension for
the fingers, thumb and wrist. It allows simultaneous motion
of the three phalanges, matching the physiological spiral of
flexion, and it’s the only CPM machine capable of forming a
true composite fist.
Lower motor mount brings drive arm into alignment with
patient's joint
Quick set-up allows patient to receive comprehensive motion
therapy quickly for a wide variety of indications
Skid-resistant finder wraps can be applied and removed
quickly and do not leave a sticky residue
The
Kinetec* 8091* Portable Hand CPM Machine is lightweight
and simple to operate. Without the traditional set-up of
other hand CPM machines, your patient can easily and quickly
receive comprehensive motion therapy for a wide variety of
indications. The finger wraps can be applied and removed
quickly, and their non-skid surface doesn’t leave sticky
residue behind. An anatomically shaped drive bar enhances
abduction and adduction of the web spaces as the joints are
being mobilized. And, the Kinetic* 8091* CPM machine
is backed by a 24-month limited warranty
Further enhances anatomical motion by working web spaces
Non-skid finger wraps
Help
hold fingers securely in place throughout motion
15
degrees hyperextension to 270 degrees flexion
Maximum range of motion allows full motion therapy
Up to

Indications
Hand
CPM therapy is indicated for the treatment and
prevention of intra-articular adhesions, extra-articular
contractures and excessive post-operative swelling. CPM
therapy can provide excellent range of motion and reduce
pain and edema. Indications include the following:
Open reduction and rigid internal fixation of
intra-articular diathyseal and
metaphyeal fractures of the phalanges
Capsulotomy, arthrolysis and tenolysis for
post-traumatic stiffness of MCP and
PIP
joints
Crush injuries
Flexor and extensor tendon synovectomies
Flexor and extensor tendon tenolysis
Prosthetic replacement of MCP and PIP joints
Contraindications
/ Precautions
Not
to be used in the presence of untreated or
uncontrolled infection, unstable fractures or spastic
paralysis
Medcom has almost every
portable hand CPM every made, in stock. We can meet
almost every patients level of ability to pay. Besides
the Kinetec 8091, arguably one of the best portable hand
CPM, if not the best, we have the Toronto's, the WaveFlex,
the Danninger with full palmer closure, and there are also a
few new exciting hand CPMs being introduced soon.
Most hip CPM orders are met by
the use of a knee CPM. There are special circumstances
where a knee CPM will not meet a specific rehabilitation of a
hip. That is where the dedicated hip CPM would be required
as it does abduction and adduction.
Kinetec 9081 Hip
CPM Machine
Provides optimum range of motion allowing and controlling
flexion, extension and abduction
Shock-absorbing feature transfers the weight of the leg off
the hip joint
Can be wheeled away from bed when not in use
The
Kinetec* 9081* Hip CPM machine provides optimum range of
motion by allowing and controlling flexion, extension and
abduction.
