CPMs are a machine that will move
your joint that was operated on, in the picture, it shows a knee
machine. It is used after your surgery and helps reduce your
pain while maintaining and increasing your Range Of Motion -

| MEDICARE: Medicare will pay for a knee CPM for a total knee replacement or revision for 21 days from the date of surgery if the CPM is applied within 48 hours of surgery and use has been continuous. | ||||||||

Specialty CPMs (hand, elbow, shoulder, ankle, great toe) are available as well, but as these entail a more involved set-up. A therapist usually is needed locally for calibration and set-up. Specialty CPMs are also delivered by UPS but cost more to rent than a knee CPM.
