Description
This is one of our favorites for cold therapy. Many of our employees who work with patients on a daily basis have this unit at their homes for personal use. The Knee Cryocuff provides continuous cold with compression to help decrease swelling around the knee joint. Decreasing swelling helps to significantly reduce pain after surgery or after an injury. The benefit of buying this product over many of the more expensive options is that you can disconnect the sleeve from the cooler and still get the benefits of cooling with compression without being attached to a cumbersome cooler or an electrical outlet. This allows you to walk around or move to another room without the need to carry the cooler (think crutches). Because of the simplicity of this product, you can be assured that it will last for many years to come.
Cryo/Cuff by Aircast combines focal compression with cold to provide optimal control of swelling, edema, hematoma, hemarthrosis, and pain. Simplicity of design and ease of operation makes it ideal for the ER, post-op, training room and home.
