Designed to treat primary or secondary lymphedema by increasing circulation.  A lymphedema pump compresses the affected part of the body, generally the arm(s) or leg(s). Working from the feet or hands, the pump compresses in a gentle, gradient, sequential pattern upwards toward the heart.

Lymphedema pumps treat swelling of the arms and legs as well as other conditions such as chronic venous stasis ulcers and venous insufficiency.

Lymphedema Pumps:

  • Reduce Pain
  • Reduce Edema
  • Mimic the lymphatic system
  • Promote lymphatic flow by moving fluid in the proper direction (distally to the heart)
  • Stimulate circulation to promote wound healing
  • Deliver continuous flow

Most lymphedema pumps are lightweight, portable, easy to us and cost effective

Important:  If you are interested in using a lymphedema pump or similar machine, you need to speak with your doctor ahead of time.  A test is generally required to ensure you have no blood clots that may cause further medical complications.

If you have questions or concerns about which lymphedema pump is right for you, please contact one of our Patient Care Representatives for a free consultation at 1-877-301-4276.
