The VascuTherm Therapy System is designed provided multiple therapy modalities with a single machine. The VascuTherm is an electronic cooling, heating and compression system. The VascuTherm therapy system provides precisely controlled cold or hot fluid that never has to directly contact the skin during therapy. The system is also capable of providing calibrated compressed air all in one convenient unit. The solid state, electrothermic heat pumps heat and cool the fluid in a safe and environmentally friendly manner with NO ICE NEEDED.
Localized Thermal Therapy - Used for post-injury or post-surgery recoveries. The system allows you to use either cold therapy (between 43° and 50°F) or hot (105°).
Contrast Therapy - Automatically alternates between hot and cold therapies (20 minutes of cold, 10 minutes of hot, repeating continuously) for pain management.
Compression - Alternating/Intermittent compression between 15mmHg and 35mmHg. Enhances the thermal transfer when combined with the thermal therapies.
DVT Prophylaxis - Decrease the risk of Deep Vein Thrombrosis (DVT). Primarily used post surgical to help prevent blood clots.
