InTENSity IF Combo

The InTENSity™ IF Combo combines TENS and Interferential electrotherapy modes to give you the best chance of treating patients that may need something stronger than a standard TENS unit. The IF Combo has 4 modes of Tens and 4 modes of Interferential, ensuring that your patient is getting the most pain relief. The unit is 105 mA strong and comes complete with an AC adapter to allow patients to get relief anywhere. This kit includes everything needed to begin treatment immediately.

Mechanism of Action:

TENS

• Small electrical impulses are sent through the skin to stimulate the nerves
• The impulses interact with the nerves and block impulses from the area
• The effects of these blocks modify pain perception within the affected area
• Effective for chronic intractable pain, acute post-traumatic pain, acute post-operative pain and arthritic pain

Interferential Stimulation:

• Small electrical impulses are sent through the skin into damaged tissues within the body
• Creates a massaging action on the affected area intermittently
• The impulses block nerve impulses to modify pain perception in the area
• The impulses stimulate the tissues to increase blood flow to the area
• The impulses stimulate the production of hormones that promote healing
• The impulses help eliminate the swelling and edema locally
