Cold and compression therapy can help manage these symptoms by combining controlled cooling with pneumatic compression. The NICE1 Cold + Compression Therapy System delivers both therapies through a single system, circulating cooled water and air through a therapy wrap placed around the affected area. The system is designed to provide consistent, adjustable treatment without the need for traditional ice packs.

The medcom group offers the refurbished NICE1 as a cost-conscious option for patients who have been prescribed cold and compression therapy. The lightweight, portable system features a touchscreen interface and preset therapy programs, while allowing users to adjust cold and compression settings to suit their prescribed treatment. The NICE1 provides five cold settings and three intermittent compression levels, with therapy wraps available for different areas of the body (perfectly fulfilling the RICE method of injury recovery). Each refurbished unit comes from the medcom group rental fleet and undergoes preventative maintenance before shipping. Units may have minor cosmetic wear and are supplied with a 60-day warranty. A prescription is required for this device.
