Often, yes. You will need a prescription for any device that moves a joint (CPM), provides pneumatic compression (foot pump, SCD, lymphedema pump), or circulates cold water with a motor. Other devices may also require a prescription. The prescription is required whether you prepay or ask us to bill insurance. We can help request one from your provider.
